Thiink Commercial Pty Ltd (ABN 48 614 482 629) (“Thiink”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a commercial real estate agency in Western Sydney, NSW. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains, in plain English, what we collect, why we collect it and what you can do about it.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to help you. This may include:
- your name, email address, phone number and company name;
- details about a property you own, want to buy, lease or sell, or your space requirements (for example location, size, budget and timing);
- anything else you choose to tell us in a message, on the phone or in person.
We collect this when you use the forms on our website (market appraisal, contact, Share Your Requirements and newsletter sign-up), when you enquire about a listing, or when you call, email or meet us. Where it is practical, you can deal with us without giving your name, but we may not be able to help as fully.
Why we collect it
We collect your personal information to:
- respond to your enquiry and keep in touch about it;
- prepare market appraisals and provide sales, leasing and property management services;
- match you with properties that suit your requirements;
- send you listings, market updates and newsletters you have asked to receive;
- run our business and meet our legal obligations, including those under NSW property agency laws.
How we store and share it
We store your details in our customer relationship management system (Salesforce), our email systems and our website. Some of these providers may store data outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where they operate. We choose reputable providers and take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.
We may share your details with people who need them to help you, such as property owners, landlords, buyers or tenants involved in a transaction you are part of, and with service providers who work for us (for example IT, hosting and email providers). We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information.
Direct marketing
If you subscribe or have dealt with us, we may send you listings, market updates and news. You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us using the details below. We will act on your request promptly.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar tools to make the site work, remember your preferences (such as saved properties) and understand how visitors use it. We use analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, which collect information like pages visited, device and browser type and approximate location. This does not usually identify you personally. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to help protect against spam. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the site may not work as well.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it if it is wrong, out of date or incomplete. Contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually 30 days. If we can’t give you access, we will tell you why.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to respond within 30 days.
